Give Me The 'Sixty

In 2001, Marvel published comics Alias \u200b\u200bunder a new banner MAX. The new imprint was created specifically for this series and is meant only for adult readers. Hence writers and artists had a chance to let your imagination run wild and work without restrictions. Thanks got dark and violent scenarios drawings.

Through the MAX for the first time presented their full potential, oldish now, although still in sensational form as Frank Castle. Garth Ennis moved to the MAX Punisher title, and so. V5 gave hell criminal.

Today, however, about another comic who made the greatest impression on me with a whole arsenal of MAX.

The year is 1971, serial Stevie Goodwin counts down the days until the end of his turn in Vietnam. He was still 39 days of service, followed by getting onto the board room and a huge bird will sleep just a dream and a beautiful angel in disguise, flight attendants would smile at him and serve cold beer. Stevie decided not to die. The only way to do that is to stay close captain Castle. In love with the war soldier who takes his third turn.

The Punisher: Born a very dark story about Frank before he became an outlaw avenger. We get to know him mainly because Goodwin'a narrative, which tells of his superiors. With it, we learn some very dark things, because Frank himself does not say too much. In addition, Ennis smuggled into comic also fairly strong criticism of U.S. policy. Got to foreign policy (interview with Stevie Angel'em), army (the attitude of soldiers and commanders) and society (again Angel'a lines). They are really pretty strong remarks as "superbohaterski 'comics.
But this is only a backdrop to a much darker thread, which is Frank's seduction by a mysterious inner voice. For he says it is a surrender to him in exchange for the power, through which it becomes who always wanted to be. deeds and choices we make and continually revived Frank's voice can only lead to one.

Maybe at this moment a little bit exaggerating, but what is this my right.
Imagine the good, righteous man. Acc. some of God's son - Jesus. Compare him with the captain of Castle, a brutal warrior, who loves to kill and he loves war, which provide him with a countless number of purposes.
Last Temptation. Jesus did it, won with the devil. How tempting ended Frank Castle? I guess everyone who has read or watched the Punisher knows the answer to this question.

Just a word about the drawings Darick'a Robertson'a . They are very good. Very realistic and watching them is a great pleasure for the eye. After reading the comic book one can easily go back to him just to thoroughly examine each side. The only caveat is the lack of similarity face in close-in distance.
